DNC Violations
A $3.4 million fine was recently levied against a telemarketing company for violating the DNC list... (but there is doubt if the full amount will be remitted because the company [reportedly] does not have the assets... http://www.macon.com/2014/03/17/2996694/telemarketer-slapped-with-34-million.html
PhoneTray provides an excellent way to track calls, and to document repeat calls from telemarketers. Granted, to capture the repeat offenders, you should not ZAP the calls with the SIT, but you could simply disconnect them with a 'silent message' after a couple of (annoying) rings, which would be the same as answering, and hanging up.
Other than the satisfaction of reporting DNC violations, is there a way for the 'victims' of DNC violations (i.e.: us) to claim a portion of levied fines?
